McCabe's Shamrock Club, also known as "The Rock",  is an Irish Pub &  Liquor Store.  The Liquor Store features a Drive Thru, the first in Wisconsin.  Chris & Ruth McCabe first opened McCabe's Shamrock Club as  "Shamrock Recreation" in 1946 on Main Street with a bar and 4 bowling lanes.  In 1960 a new McCabe's Shamrock Club was built on West 3rd Street.  Ruth McCabe also started  New Richmond's Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in 1977 and it continues to be one of the biggest celebrations in town.
